Congratulations to Linn Mennonite, the 2026 Regular Season Champions!

This is the first time Linn Mennonite has finished in first place at the end of the regular season, since I began keeping records in 2013!

2026 Final Season Standings and Tournament Seeds:

Tie breakers are determined by head to head matchup record, then least amount of runs allowed, then most runs scored, then records vs the number 1 ranked team and so on.

2026 Tournament Brackets and Schedules will be posted shortly!

The Prophets narrowly beat the Saints to win the tournament!

Our 2026 Home Run Derby Champion is Chad Fleck – Liberty Bible Black!
Chad crushed 5 home runs in the first round, and 3 in the final round to defeat the runner up Josh Bennett. Josh had 6 dingers of his own in the first round (stopping early), and followed up with 1 in the final round.

2026 Midsummer Festivities
When: Monday July 13th from 6pm to 10pm
Where: Eureka Lower Lake Park
Schedule of Events: 
6:00PM to 8:15PM Midsummer Classic Tournament
8:15PM Midsummer Home Run Derby

Midsummer Classic Tournament:
– Softball games played just like a regular season game, but with mixed squads.
– There will be 4 teams (Saints, Prophets, Angels and Disciples) of mixed players from different league teams.
– The number of players from each team will be dependent on their team’s standings at the time of the Midsummer Festivities.

HOME RUN DERBY RULES:

• Participants not batting or on-deck are expected to field softballs.
• Each player will get 10 outs
• A swing resulting in anything except a home run is considered an out.
• Players can bring their own pitchers if they choose
• Pitches that hit the plate or matt are not considered an out, only swings.
• Swing and miss is considered an out
• Ties
  • Tie-breakers will only be played by those individuals that have a potential to be in the top 2.  
  • Tie-Breaker will consist of each tied player getting 5 more outs.  The player with the most home runs out of those 5 will win the tie.

Derby Format:
Consists of 2 Rounds
Round 1:
All players will participate
The 2 players that hit the most home runs will participate in the Championship Round
Round 2 (Championship Round):
The 2 participants will start with zero home runs (home runs from previous rounds are not counted).
The player that hits the most home runs during this round will be the Home Run Derby Champion

7/20 United vs Liberty Black – moves to 7/21 North Field 6pm and 7pm

7/21 Liberty Gray vs Covenant moves to 7/20 South Field 6pm and 7pm

6/22 Liberty Gray vs Eureka Bible moves to 7/21 South Field 8pm and 9pm

7/21 The Bridge vs Great Oaks changes start time to 6pm and 7pm

All games are canceled for Monday, June 22 due to poor field conditions

These games will be made up at a later time
